Strengths
There are many strengths in regards to the community of Hubbard's recreation options. They offer residents baseball, softball, soccer and football fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts picnic facilities, playgrounds, trails, community services and recreational facilities. Also they have Big Game Raceway which is a rarity to have such a motocross track in a community. Therefore, there is a wide variety of options available for residents to choose from.
Weaknesses
Hubbard offers more outside recreation than inside recreation; therefore, during the cold months the citizens of Hubbard don't have many options of activities that can participate in. This is also a hindering factor when taking into consideration that Hubbard is located in NE Ohio which gets tons of rain and most parks will become saturated and unable to be used along with the golf courses. Also all recreation activities cost money and the constant question is how will the city afford all the parks located in Hubbard.
